I got a bunch of old farm equipment and a bunch scrap metal laying around my farm how much money can I really make off scrap metal?

    oh yeah. My dad took a bunch of the metal from our garage, and sold it for $300. We had a LOT of metal, though.

    you will make more money if your sort out your scrap, such as cast, steel, and tin

    some people make a living off scrapping-with a pickup truck and trailer. it takes a lot to pay for fuel now, but check where you take scrap in your area and how much each type pays (iron, cast, aluminum, copper, etc). figure from there.

    $1300.00 in copper last week. you need alot of steel to make good money, but if you have a trailer to haul it Oyeah payday.

    Load up and go to the scrapyard! You need a lot, but its free money. Aluminum pays off pretty well.
