How can we get food to the cities and grow our crops when the computers are destroyed by a large solar storm?

Solar storms have caused blackouts on large power grids. A very fast moving strong solar storn hitting the earths magnetic field could create a strong emf pulse to distroy all the compurers that are not in a shielded area. The computers that would be distroyed most easily are the ones in cars, trucks, and farm equipment.

    all true.
    Some of the older cars , trucks and farm equipment would be OK. but that would be a small percentage.

    we would have to go back to the ways we did it before.

    there were fruit and vegetable stands ( small buildings on the side of the road, usaully nest to small farms)) and HUGE farmers markets in several areas of big cities.

    However, i don’t think we could maintain cities the size of New York or LA.
